Living in London means that one tries to get use to the unpredictable weather. A week ago, we had a heatwave with temperatures nearing 30 degrees and this week we are back to digging out our Autumn clothes at the end of June. unpredictable is an understatement.
I will refrain myself from complaining too much as this weather that we all love to complain about so much has helped me create some great images and quite a few personal favourites. This unpredictable weather keeps me fascinated and makes for a very interesting subject.
Weather is an integral part of many of my images and the wilder it is, the more interesting the image. It governs an important feature which is mood, a central theme in many of the images that I create.
What makes this image different from my other images is the reason behind the image itself. It was the reflections of the clouds on the glass facade. It reminded me of my childhood. Lying on the floor of the courtyard staring at the sky, watching clouds dance and trying to decipher figures and shapes that present themselves.
I definitely miss those simpler days…..
