Some days start normally and end with some surprises. Days like these are far and few between so I love going back and review them especially when these memories have images attached to them.
Since I work full time, I set out time to capture images. These are usually weekends. Just like any other day, after taking all the images I wanted, I left. It wasn’t a particularly brilliant day. It was grey, cloudy and it started to drizzle. On my way out of St Mary Axe, the clouds broke briefly and the came out blinding me from the corner of my eye showing me an image that I never even thought off. It took my time to capture what I saw.
As soon as I got home, I edited this image immediately. If you have been following this blog for a while, you will know that it’s not me. I’ve never edited images in the order that I capture them. Once I’ve finished the edit, I thought that the end result was too dark and I never shared it. Even though it is exactly what I wanted to create, I simply doubted myself and I talked myself out of sharing it for over a year.
I am sharing this image now because I am holding myself accountable.
I created this image because it is what I have in mind and I would like you guys to share with me images that you have created and never shared.
