The bus stand – A black & white urban landscape image

Good morning everybody!!

Hope everyone had a great week and looking forward to the weekend. The image below, I took on my way to meet my friend. It goes to show that when they say that you always need to have a camera with you at all times. On the other hand, carrying a DSLR around all the time is too much. But this was a lucky day. What caught my eye was the contrast between the building and the bus. We all know that these buses aren’t small but compared to the building behind it, it’s a different story.

Processing was pretty straight forward. I evened out the tones in the colour image then desaturated the images. I had to be careful with the shadows as I did not want to loose the reflection in the bus windscreen.

Great weekend everybody!!!

I am a photographer currently living in London. Most of my work is in black and white because which I've found to be the best outlet to express myself. With patience a rather unique way of seeing the beauty around me, I enjoy creating a world that is unique to me.
